HG Mind Works is a CQC-registered provider of specialist mental health and neurodevelopmental services operating across England. Our adult ADHD assessment service launched in 2026 and sits within a broader clinical infrastructure that includes talking therapies, blue light wellbeing services, occupational therapy and – from later this year – adult autism and children and young people’s assessment pathways.

We are not a single-pathway startup with a website and a CQC certificate. We are an operational clinical provider with live NHS and public sector contracts, a structured governance framework and the workforce infrastructure to sustain safe clinical delivery as demand grows.
Why that matters to you as a private patient
The private ADHD assessment market has a credibility problem
A number of providers have grown quickly, prioritised volume over rigour and in some cases produced assessments that did not meet the standard required for recognition by GPs, employers or NHS services.
We built our assessment pathway with that context in mind.
Clinical governance was in place before our first patient came through the door. Every diagnostic report undergoes mandatory second-clinician review. Our assessments follow NICE NG87 guidelines and use the DIVA-5 – the gold-standard structured clinical interview for adult ADHD. Our CQC registration is our own – not contracted or inherited – and is independently verified by England’s health and social care regulator.
We are also approved on the HealthTrust Europe Framework.
This means NHS organisations can contract with us without a full procurement process. That is a meaningful signal of our governance standing, and it is relevant to you as a private patient because it reflects the standard we operate to across all of our services – not a separate, lighter-touch version for self-funding patients.

Newly launched - and transparent about it
We launched our private ADHD assessment service in 2026. We do not yet have years of patient reviews to point you to. What we can offer instead is transparency – our CQC registration, our clinical methodology, our governance framework and a direct conversation with the team before you commit to anything.
